Continuous USDA inspection means that whenever Cal-Tex is in operation a USDA inspector
is present verifying the preparation, processing, packaging and warehousing to assure compliance with U.S. standards. The continuous inspection service provides added confidence that all products are of declared quality, correct fill levels and meet label declarations. They work along with our own quality-control personnel to monitor juice quality, plant sanitation, and pest control. The USDA inspector is the only person that can declare a juice product to be U.S. Grade A and can withhold product from shipment if it does not meet the high standards of the USDA and Cal-Tex.

Our use of Krueger Food Laboratories, Inc. is another added value we offer to prove that our 100% juice products are 100% authentic juice with no additives or contaminants.

100% Florida Orange Juice is Licensed by the Florida Department of Citrus.

Cal-Tex offers a 100% Florida Orange Juice under our Citrus Pride® brand. Not only does Citrus Pride display the USDA Continuous Inspection Shield (as do all Cal-Tex products) it also displays the Florida Citrus Growers' Symbol indicating licensing, testing and monitoring by the Florida Department of Citrus.
